Technical difficulties

Oh, so much for trying to be pretty with my blog. This is why I have such a Plain Jane look!

I just barely got that big belly of mine out of the posts on Jennie’s computer, and now Mrs. Marco is saying they are doing the same thing. Mrs. Marco, is it the belly picture?

Anyone else?

My computer screens are wide, so I have lots and lots of white space here and can’t tell. Please complain away in the comment box and I’ll start working on losing that gut.

  1. It looks really good to me!

  2. I’m using Mozilla Firefox on a laptop, and it looks fine to me!I like the photo layout on the right sidebar.

  3. OK, there shouldn’t be ANY photos on the right – only on the left. What photos are on the right? Same ones?

  4. My computer at home had overlay, I don’t remember about my day job, and on my night job computer it now looks fine. I’ll report in from home later…

  5. It looks better now than this a.m. Nothing is overlapping this eve.

  6. Looks fine here. 🙂

  7. looks great today on a laptop. Yesterday the pics had some overlap onto the text, but today all is well!! And the pics are all beautiful!!

  8. Ok, I am running firefox on a PC. I see the photos on the left. First there is your husband, then the 2 big boys, then the 2 girls, then Pete, then your belly shot, then the dog–and then the whole thing repeats.Looks nice to me!

  9. Looks fine from home…

  10. I’m also seeing the photos on the left in an endless repeat (I’m using Mozilla on a PC) but they’re ALL getting into the print–in this post, for example, your belly covers up “Oh so mu” on the first line and “such a pl” on the second. The dog is “I just bar” and the whole word “computer”, etc. I know I’m totally an anonymous lurker, but it’s through your site that I found the Kitchen Madonna (and some nice aprons!). And yours is the only real “blog” I read every day. I have turning-one-tomorrow twin girls (and another on the way in 6 months), so my “free” time is… well, limited. And I really like your Catholicity. I’m a convert to the Faith (and one-year-new to the “stay-at-home nursing mom who’s planning on homeschooling” gig) and do enjoy your posts. Anyway, thought I’d idenitfy myself more than just “yeah your blog is hard to read now”. Thanks.

  11. You’ve moved the belly down! It only overlaps if I’ve got my favorites menu locked open. Most sites just bump over, but some squish. This is a squisher. 🙂You can add photos to the header area now, if you like. Just go to the layout screen and click on the appropriate box. I made mine out of a bunch of photos “stitched” together with my camera’s software. It’s supposed to be for landscapes, but with enough tweaking, it works for lots of kids, too.

  12. Jenny, thanks for de-lurking. Sorry about the overlap. Did you maximize your viewing window? I get your problem when I squish it.I think I’m just going to have to go with the header, as you suggested, Jennie C. I’ve been avoiding that because, well, YOU did it already and it looked so cool, but I didn’t want to copy. I tried adding the photos to the sidebar, but they kept getting distorted.Again, this is why my blog looks so boring. I feel like I do with my hair half the time – it’s so OLD, and I want something new, but then I get something new and it looks awful…

  13. Umm nooo… I just can’t tell my right from my left. The photos are on the left! Sorry!

  14. Looks great to me! I have a wide screen so there is a bit of white space but its nice a clean and spread out. I like it!HO did you get the pictures down the die? Too cool!!

  15. That last sentence is supposed to say:How did you get the pictures down the side??Forgot to proofread :-/

  16. It looks fixed now! Much better!! 🙂
