New Month’s Resolution for April

Yikes! I forgot that yesterday was the first of the month!

This is a tough month for me to have a resolution. I’ll be spending nearly half of this month traveling.

Well, actually that lends itself to a perfect resolution. Between the feasting of Easter and the necessary eating-out that accompanies a road-trip of 15 hours, I resolve to be extra careful about portions and types of food I select while on the road. I do intend to indulge at least once in a big juicy burger from Wendy’s (hold the onions, please), but other than that, I’ll be focusing on the soups and salads on the menu or on (gasp!) leaving half the food on the plate, since I really don’t need to eat 1000 calories at one sitting.

What is your new month’s resolution? Comments are open!

  1. I resolve to give birth…

  2. I need to work on priortizing my day. terribly exciting isn’t it??

  3. There’s one bag left of Thin Mint Girl Scout cookies…I’ve resolved to not open it and save it for my husband when he gets home from Korea…I hope he appreciate the enormous amount of restraint I’m employing to surprise him with this little offering.

  4. Oh Michelle, I’ve been thinking about this since mid-March…and I just don’t know. I’m going to do a post about it (eek, forgot about it myself too, what with Loveliness Fairs and such!), but it won’t be until late tomorrow (to give said fair time to be at the top for a while, for all those peeps who will be looking for it…) šŸ™‚ more from me later…must think… (I have an idea, but it will be hard, oh so very hard…)

  5. I resolve to not freak out that my husband is not working due to a back problem and I also resolve not to pay any bills and I also resolve to make my bed every day at the homeless shelter we will have to go to when we lose the house because we can’t pay any bills. Okay, I’m being just slightly panicky. I resolve to put my trust in the Lord that all will be well and that his back will get better and I can pay the bills. The End.
