  1. So exciting. That will be me and my kids next Christmas – counting down the days until our soldier returns home. Right now, we're trying to “stretch” the days until he leaves, and enjoy our holiday together.

  2. I remember well those last days until we were reunited. Praying that the days pass quickly for all of you.

  3. Am I counting right – he'll be home for the new year? I'm excited for you all.

  4. Kris, I'm sorry! I know what YOU are going through and it's awful. Perhaps we will see each other in GA.

Jenny, thank you for your prayers. They are needed now as much as ever.

Amanda, yes. He should be home for Christmas even. I'm not telling the kids, but he may be home before that. My husband tried to tell me even earlier, but I don't want to hear it. I'm planning on the 21st, but hoping for the 19th or early on the 20th. Our daughter's dance recital is the 20th, and I really don't want him to miss it.

  5. I'm so excited for you! Prayers for you.

  6. I'll be praying for no delays and a great reunion.

  7. You have such great ideas for things. I'm sure your kids fully appreciated the candy countdown. 🙂

Praying for Bill's quick (not far away anymore) return and a joyous Christmas.

Doesn't seem too long ago you were talking about the stores bringing out the Christmas stuff (Halloween time) and how you couldn't wait. So glad the wait is almost over.

  8. Cool. I'm counting the days too. I'm hoping for only one more Sunday mass alone, although it might be two. Either way he should be here for Christmas:)

  9. You are almost there Michele! Hang on.
