A Royal Procession

The parade passes through the kitchen.

“All Hail, Mary the Baby.”

The infant is carried, her royal entourage follows waving arms and beaming their adoration.

“All Hail, Mary the Baby.”

The parade moves on to another part of the house.

There was a time I worried that my younger children would never have the same love and attention I gave to my older ones. I was right. It’s not the same. But I’m no longer worried about that.

I’m now worried about how I could ever possibly keep that little girl from being spoiled.

  1. They are TOO funny!

  2. I used to worry about that too. Now I feel sorry for the older ones who missed out on that kind of love and adoration.

  3. Michelle – is your e-mail address still the same? I saw your link to the Grocery Game on Jennie C’s blog, and I’m thinking of signing up…I want to give you credit for the referral. 🙂

  4. Kasia, the email address I used for the Grocery Game is thereitstuff at gmail dot com.Clever, ain’t it?

  5. LOL – yes, it is!Why, I wonder, isn’t there a parallel construction (like “ain’t” for “isn’t it”) for “it is”? I found myself racking my brain trying to come up with what it would be, and coming up empty… 🙂So if the GG turns out to be a winner for me and I enroll after the trial, you’ll get credit. I remember reading about “price books” where you do essentially what they’re doing, only on your own, to track pricing on various items that you buy. I think that was in <>The Tightwad Gazette<>. But it always seemed like way too much time and effort to invest for the return I’d get shopping for one…which is why I’m excited about having them tell me what the deals are. 🙂

  6. LOL…sounds like an adorable scene! I can’t imangine much harm from that.
