old dog, new tricks

I’ve opened a Flickr account to download photos after Blogger’s complete meltdown for me in this regard.

  1. Great lighting!! I’m impressed.

I can’t get pictures to go up either–can’t use Blogger, can’t use Photobucket. GRRRRR. Flickr works???

  2. Great pictures! I especially love the one of the tree taken from the ground.

I really like flickr. It’s been a great spot for our extended family (my siblings and their families) to keep in touch when we’re scattered all over.

  3. Barb – Sarah the snoring scholar told me to use Flickr…there are a lot of features I haven’t even begun to learn, but it wasn’t too difficult to get these loaded in short order.

Alicia – thanks. My husband did a good job with that one.

My favorite is the ghost children dancing. I used the night setting and you can see the shadows that the moving kids left as it did multiple “exposures” – Pete wasn’t even in the picture until the last second.

  4. Wonderful pictures! I, too love the artistic shots of the Christmas tree and your children dancing. Great use of your camera! And your home is beautiful!

  5. I’m glad flickr is working for you, Michelle. I /love/ your pictures! You make me think perhaps I should try decorating next year (unless we do a Christmas Trip, that is). I don’t think there’s anything wrong with keeping your decorations up, savoring the season! πŸ™‚
